DOU Day Picnic 2026

About the Event

DOU Day Picnic 2026 is a major charity networking event for the Ukrainian IT community. On September 5, it will bring together more than 7,000 IT professionals, technology company representatives, entrepreneurs, speakers, and industry partners in Kyiv.

This year’s Picnic will combine professional networking with an informal outdoor experience. Attendees can look forward to talks by leading speakers, themed activities, Job Speed Dating, workshops, stand-up comedy, a live concert, an open-air cinema, a charity electronics market, a food court, and dedicated areas for children and pets.

Supporting Ukraine’s Defence Forces is an important part of the event. The organisers will donate 100% of ticket proceeds to the fundraising campaign for VAMPIRE bomber drones for the Khartiia Brigade.

MODUS X will join DOU Day Picnic as an event partner. For us, it is an opportunity to meet the Ukrainian IT community, discuss technologies and projects, and support the event’s charitable mission together.

What to Expect at DOU Day Picnic

The main stage will feature speakers from the technology industry, business, culture, education, and civil society.

The announced speakers include:

Networking and New Connections

DOU Day Picnic will provide plenty of opportunities to meet colleagues, technology company representatives, potential employers, and other members of the Ukrainian IT community.

During Job Speed Dating, employers and candidates will have three minutes to get to know each other before candidates move on to the next company. Each round will last approximately one hour and bring together 20 candidates and 10 employers. Partner areas, the DOU Quest, and other interactive formats will also help attendees connect and meet new people.

Charity Activities

The event will feature a charity electronics market, a donation microphone, workshops, and other activities available in exchange for donations.

Visitors can bring electronics they would like to give a new life to, including custom keyboards, vintage laptops or phones, Arduino boards, and other electronic components.

The donation microphone will allow attendees to share a story, a lesson learned, or a joke with the audience while supporting Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
