MODUS X Expands Academic Partnerships in R&D
MODUS X is expanding its academic partnerships in the field of research and development (R&D). One of the first practical steps in this direction has been the collaboration with Dnipro University of Technology, which has expressed a strong interest in partnering on research and development initiatives.
As part of this effort, the MODUS X team visited Dnipro and met with the Rector and representatives of the University. The meeting provided an opportunity to establish personal connections, discuss the potential for collaboration, and explore possible areas of cooperation, with a particular focus on R&D.
"Academic partnerships are a natural extension of our R&D strategy. Collaboration with Dnipro University of Technology provides us with a real world environment where ideas can be tested in practice, not just on paper," said Snizhana Katsiuba, Chief HR Officer at MODUS X.
Focus on Joint Research and Practical Innovation
The meeting was also joined by Serhii Fedoriachenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Engineering Design, Technical Aesthetics and Design. The participants discussed specific formats for joint work, ranging from rapid experiments and hypothesis validation to prototyping and MVP development.
"Technological advancement requires an environment where ideas can move quickly from theory to practice. Dnipro University of Technology offers both the talent and the technical capabilities needed for this. For us, it is an opportunity to buid a research process together with a genuine academic partner and achieve results with practical value," emphasized Serhii Fedoriachenko.
The participants also highlighted their shared vision for collaboration and innovation.
"We need a partner that can move quickly from hypothesis to prototype and MVP. The University possesses strong technical expertise and a willingness to work iteratively — exactly the approach we aim to build into our R&D activities," added Yevhenii Horbachov, Chief Technology Officer at MODUS X.
Next Steps in the Partnership
The next step will be a kick off meeting to define the focus areas of the first joint initiative. The partnership with Dnipro University of Technology lays the groundwork for future collaborative R&D projects and experimentation initiatives at MODUS X.
