According to a joint study by Forbes Ukraine and KPMG in Ukraine, MODUS X topped the ranking of IT companies established by large businesses for internal digital transformation. In 2024, the company recorded the highest revenue among its peers — UAH 1.8 billion, which is 41% more than in 2023.
Over the year, MODUS X demonstrated rapid growth, evolving from an internal innovation hub into a full-fledged IT company with export potential. Among its key achievements were the launch of new solutions for DTEK in energy production forecasting, digital document management, cybersecurity, automation, and generative AI.
“What we develop for DTEK, we’re now able to offer to external markets. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian market is slowing down — expanding the portfolio here is becoming increasingly difficult due to the sluggish economy. That’s why we’re entering new markets: Europe and Central Asia. It’s challenging, but the opportunities to earn are there,” said Dmytro Osyka.
The company is actively expanding its external client base. In 2024, it worked with 14 external clients, and in the first half of 2025 — added 12 more. These include players from the banking, agricultural, pharmaceutical, and retail sectors. The next area of focus: telecommunications.
By the end of 2024, the total revenue of the 10 largest IT subsidiaries of Ukrainian companies reached UAH 7 billion ($174 million), a 49% increase compared to 2023. MODUS X accounted for the largest share of this amount.
Other companies featured in the ranking included: Nova.Digital, Kyivstar.Tech, Metinvest Digital, TemaBit, Naftogaz Digital Technologies, and others.
