Summer Ranking Results
Based on the results of the first half of 2026, MODUS X ranked 24th among Ukraine’s 50 largest IT companies in the DOU ranking, moving up five positions. Since summer 2025, the company has improved its position by 14 places in total.
As of July 2026, the ranking included 906 MODUS X specialists - 68 more than in the previous
edition. This total included 828 technical specialists, an increase of 55 since the previous measurement. Technical specialists accounted for more than 91% of the MODUS X team represented in the ranking.
Year-on-Year Dynamics
The growth has been consistent. More than 720 company specialists were included in the summer 2025 ranking, rising to 838 in January 2026 and 906 in July. Over six months, the total number of specialists increased by approximately 8%.
Market Context
The company’s dynamics stand out against the broader situation in Ukraine’s IT sector. During the first half of 2026, the number of specialists employed by the 50 largest companies decreased by 0.7%, while the number of technical specialists fell by 1,987 people, or 3%. Overall, the companies in the ranking employ around 79,000 specialists.
According to DOU, 38% of companies expanded their teams in the first half of the year, 44% reduced headcount, and 18% remained stable. Product and hybrid companies were predominant among those that grew.
Despite the overall contraction, hiring continues in Ukraine’s IT market. Over six months, companies in the Top 50 hired almost 7,000 specialists. Product companies accounted for half of all hires, while outsourcing and outstaffing companies accounted for another 38%.
What This Means for MODUS X
MODUS X has increased the number of specialists represented in the ranking for the fourth consecutive edition. The summer results continue the positive trend the company has demonstrated since at least summer 2025.
