MODUS X, an IT company within the DTEK Group, has initiated QUANTUM, a program aimed at the systematic integration of artificial intelligence technologies into DTEK’s business processes. The initiative brings together dozens of areas and teams developing AI applications across the company’s operations — from energy and finance to HR and cybersecurity.

The program is a logical continuation of DTEK’s long-term digital transformation. As early as 2021, DTEK became one of the first companies in Ukraine to implement machine learning and artificial intelligence in the energy sector — using drones to inspect power lines, predicting equipment failures at thermal power plants, optimizing unit loads, and improving forecasts for renewable energy generation.
Today, the MODUS X team, together with DTEK businesses, has identified more than 120 AI initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, safety, and customer focus. The top 20 projects have already been selected for implementation, covering areas such as back office operations, corporate finance, supply chains, sales, analytics, and customer service.
The goal of the program is to increase DTEK’s operational efficiency and competitiveness through the integration of AI into core business processes — while fostering an AI-driven culture and preparing teams to work in an environment where artificial intelligence becomes part of daily operations.
QUANTUM marks a new stage in DTEK’s digital evolution, uniting experts from various domains — from R&D to production — around the creation of solutions that will shape the future of the energy industry.
