Delo.ua published an article on the practical application of artificial intelligence within DTEK Group — from hydrocarbon extraction and energy trading to customer service.
The article highlights that DTEK has moved from isolated digital initiatives to a systemic AI strategy, where artificial intelligence is integrated at all levels of the business — from improving individual productivity to transforming operational processes.
In 2025, with the support of MODUS X, the company launched the Quantum AI program, which became the foundation for the structured development of AI across all Group businesses. MODUS X acts as the program’s management and coordination center — providing methodology, shaping the portfolio of initiatives, and supporting projects from idea to scaling.
As noted in the article, DTEK has built a systematic approach to AI implementation:
- ideas are collected through AI coordinators across business units;
- they go through the Discovery and Proof of Concept stages;
- they are scaled only when measurable business value is confirmed.
Today, AI is already being used in key business areas — from personal digital assistants such as Microsoft Copilot to energy market forecasting, software development automation, and customer support in contact centers.
A special role is played by the AI Ideas Bank, which includes more than 180 initiatives. Some of them are already being implemented, while around 30 are at the research and concept validation stages.
