MODUS X has joined the AI Committee established by the IT Ukraine Association — the largest IT business community in Ukraine. The committee brings together key industry players to drive the development of AI in Ukraine, shape ethical standards and sector policies, and implement innovative solutions.
As noted by Dmytro Osyka, CEO of MODUS X, AI is a crucial part of the energy sector’s digital transformation:
“AI is an integral part of our strategic digital transformation. At DTEK, we already use AI in daily operations: digital assistants support faster learning and decision-making, while advanced ML models forecast equipment wear, optimize coal logistics, and enhance renewable energy generation accuracy.”
MODUS X is represented in the committee by Chief Technology Officer Yevhenii Horbachov.
The committee’s mission includes:
Promoting ethical and practical AI adoption
Developing a strategy for AI sector growth
Shaping regulatory frameworks and policy recommendations
Uniting business, government, and academia
“This is more than just knowledge sharing — it’s a space where the intellectual future of business and the state is formed. AI is our strategic chance to lead global innovation and shape future trends,” said Horbachov.
He emphasized that Ukraine has the potential to become a significant global AI player — but achieving this requires collaboration, expertise, and shared vision. MODUS X’s experience in delivering large-scale AI projects and building expert communities will support the broader industry.
At the first AI Committee strategic session, members outlined key challenges, set priorities, and launched the development of an AI roadmap for Ukraine. The focus areas include ethical governance, state policy recommendations, and stronger cooperation between business, government, and education.
For MODUS X, participating in the committee is a natural extension of its innovation strategy. The company is already implementing Copilot 365, applying ML in industrial operations, developing in-house AI tools for the energy and industrial sectors, and fostering its Tech X Community — an internal R&D platform that unites experts to create and test groundbreaking solutions.
