In 2022, MODUS X entered the open market as an independent service and product IT company. Before that, the team had spent more than 15 years operating as DTEK’s internal IT department, driving digital transformation across the Group’s businesses.
Today, MODUS X provides services in cybersecurity, software development, SAP, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and other technology domains, as highlighted in a feature by the business publication Mind.ua.
- More than 62 DTEK companies became the company's first clients.
- In 2024, MODUS X added 14 external customers.
- The company's Net Promoter Score (NPS) increased from 37 to 56.
“We have a wealth of solutions that can evolve into full-fledged products,” says Iryna Hodovaniuk, Chief Commercial Officer.
Entering the open market was driven by customers' growing demand for greater flexibility and market-level service quality.
“We initiated sales ourselves. We had neither a sales team nor established commercial processes,” she recalls.
The CEO’s professional network helped secure the company's first meetings with potential customers, while proactive marketing communications generated market awareness and demand.
Cybersecurity in Action
“It is important to understand the difference between attacks and attack attempts. An attack occurs when an adversary has already breached certain layers of protection and entered the company's internal network. At that point, they have access to the system and can cause significant damage,” explains Yurii Shatylo, Head of Cybersecurity.
Artificial Intelligence and Predictive Analytics
“Analytical AI helps forecast energy generation, optimize logistics, and support data-driven business decisions,” explains Valentyn Vyntu, Head of Data Management. “AI provides recommendations—for example, whether to increase inventory, generate more electricity, or achieve higher profitability by selling assets.”
Focus for 2025
“Our primary revenue drivers in 2025 will be SAP, AI & Data Management, and Software Engineering together with Business Applications,” emphasizes Iryna Hodovaniuk.
