We continue to strengthen cooperation with Ukrainian higher education institutions to help prepare the next generation of IT professionals. As part of this effort, MODUS X has signed a partnership agreement with the State University of Information and Communication Technologies (SUICT).
The university delegation visited the MODUS X office for a working meeting focused on advancing practice-oriented education and strengthening collaboration between academia and the IT industry.
This partnership is particularly valuable for MODUS X because SUICT educates specialists in disciplines that directly align with the needs of today's IT industry—from telecommunications and networking technologies to cybersecurity, digital communications, and software engineering.
The meeting was attended by Volodymyr Shulha, Rector of SUICT, along with members of the university's leadership team and faculty representatives. Representing MODUS X were Chief Human Resources Officer Snizhana Katsiuba and Iryna Korobkova, Lead Specialist for Talent Assessment, Development, and Learning.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the key areas of future cooperation, including student internships, guest lectures delivered by MODUS X experts, participation in each other's Open Days, and student involvement in hackathons, bootcamps, and other professional events.
"Today, it is essential that education keeps pace with the needs of the IT industry. We appreciate MODUS X's openness to collaboration and its willingness to contribute to the development of young professionals. I am confident that this partnership will create new opportunities for expanding dual education, supporting students' professional growth, and implementing joint projects," said Volodymyr Shulha, Rector of the State University of Information and Communication Technologies.
The participants also paid particular attention to the development of dual education, which combines academic studies with hands-on experience gained by working on real business challenges. This approach enables students to develop relevant practical skills while still at university and gain a better understanding of the expectations of today's job market.
"SUICT educates specialists in fields that are strategically important both for today's IT market and for our company. For us, this is more than a partnership with a university—it is an opportunity to jointly create an environment where students gain practical experience, work on real business cases, and better understand employers' expectations while they are still studying. This is how we can shorten the path from the classroom to a first professional role," said Snizhana Katsiuba, Chief Human Resources Officer at MODUS X.
The signed agreement creates opportunities for implementing joint educational, applied research, and career guidance initiatives. The next step will be to develop a shared action plan and launch the first activities under the partnership.
The collaboration between MODUS X and SUICT is expected to strengthen cooperation between academia and the IT industry while creating more opportunities to prepare specialists whose skills meet the evolving needs of the market.
